Castle Privacy & Data Protection Policy
Castle is a free, all-in-one entertainment directory for viewers across India, and this policy explains, without jargon, how it treats your data. The short version is that Castle collects almost nothing, because it was built so you can watch without handing anything over. The policy is prepared under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and it applies on Android phones, Android TVs, and Fire TV Stick.
Watch free, with no account
Castle costs nothing to use, and it asks for no account. There is no sign-up, no email, no phone number, and no profile kept in the background. You open the app and watch as a guest, in 1080p, from the first tap. The benefit is direct: an app that never collects your identity has nothing about you to leak, sell, or lose. Watching for free here does not come at the price of your personal details, because those details are never gathered.
What the app keeps on your device
Your language choice across Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, along with your search history and settings, stays in your device's own local storage. It is not uploaded, because there is no account for it to sync to. On the device, your language choice arranges the rows you see first, matches regional audio where a title offers it, and brings the right subtitles forward, and none of that leaves the handset or reaches any advertising network.
The technical details the app reads
So that video plays well across the huge range of Android devices in India, Castle reads a few non-identifying technical details: the device model, the Android version, the screen resolution, and available memory. These describe the device, not you, and they let the player match stream quality to your hardware. Nothing here identifies an individual viewer, and nothing is stored on our side.
Advertising, kept light
Castle stays free through light, standard advertising from trusted third-party networks such as Google AdMob. These networks may use the anonymous Android Advertising ID to limit how often an ad repeats; the identifier holds no name, address, or contact detail, and its use follows each network's own privacy policy. You can reset or turn it off at any time in your Android privacy settings. Castle builds no advertising profile of you and shares nothing you watch for ad targeting.
Desktop use stays sandboxed
Castle is built natively and only for Android, including phones, Android TVs, and Fire TV Stick. It is not a native Windows or macOS application. If you run the Castle APK on a desktop through a third-party Android emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer, it stays inside that emulator's sandbox and cannot read, scan, or change the host computer's operating system, local drives, browser history, or personal files.
Clearing your data, and the Grievance Officer
Because everything Castle stores is on your device, erasing it is immediate and in your hands: Clear Data or Clear Cache in your Android settings wipes your history, tokens, and language preferences at once, and uninstalling removes the rest. No form and no waiting are involved. In keeping with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, Castle has appointed a Grievance Officer. A request sent through our online message form is acknowledged within 24 hours and reviewed within the statutory 15-day window.
