Castle Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or opening Castle on an Android phone, Android TV, or Fire TV Stick, you agree to these terms. They keep the service lawful, stable, and fair for everyone, and continued use signifies acceptance. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Copyright Act, 1957.

What Castle does

Castle is an Information Location Tool: a neutral search index that finds and organises links to content already public on third-party platforms across the open internet. Under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Castle is a passive intermediary protected by Safe Harbor. It hosts, uploads, transcodes, stores, and transmits no media files on its own infrastructure. Every link, poster, and synopsis points to a third-party server, and the works stay the property of their owners under the Copyright Act, 1957.

Free, with no paywall

Castle is free, and the whole directory is open to every guest with no registration. It is kept running by light third-party advertising rather than a subscription, so nothing stands between you and the catalogue. You need not buy, subscribe, or sign in to browse, stream in 1080p, or switch between your phone and your television. Everything the app offers is reachable without a charge.

Which devices it runs on

Castle is made only for the open Android ecosystem: Android smartphones, Android TVs, and Fire TV Stick. It is not built or supported for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or other non-Android hardware, and it is not a native Windows or macOS application. If you run Castle on a desktop through a third-party Android emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer, you accept the stability factors virtualization brings, including thermal load, driver issues, and performance shifts beyond our control.

Who may use it

Because the index is broad and unfiltered, Castle is for users aged 18 and above, or for minors only under the active supervision of a parent or guardian. On a shared screen, such as a living-room Android TV or a communal Fire TV Stick, the adult who owns the device is responsible for the material accessed through it and for who uses it.

What you may not do

Your licence is personal, revocable, and non-commercial. You may not resell access, decompile or reverse-engineer the APK, embed the player or its streams in other sites, or run automated scrapers and bots against the index. Any attempt to disrupt, overload, or game the service ends your access at once and may carry civil liability under applicable Indian cyber law.

Interruptions and jurisdiction

Castle is offered “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Because the links resolve to third-party hosts, stream quality depends on those hosts and on your internet provider. During peak events such as IPL matches or World Cup fixtures, upstream hosts may slow or fail, and some ISPs throttle traffic on their own; buffering, resolution drops, and mobile data charges then fall outside our liability. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India, in New Delhi or Mumbai, and questions may be sent through our online message form.
